Courses Offered : B.Com., M.com., M.Phil., and Ph.D.,
The B.Com major programme was started in the year 1972 with one section and the second section was started in the year 1975. Subsequently in 1981 M.Com. was introduced. With the vision was elevating the department into research centre M.Phil programme was introduced in the year 2003. At a milestone in the history of commerce department, Research centre was introduced in the year 2005-2006.

The ultimate objective is to produce commerce graduates who possess the skills, problem solving tools and professionalism essential for being successful.
