Two – year full time MBA, an all inclusive programme integrates Business theory, Critical skills and Practical application through hands-on experiences and activity based learning.
The MBA Programme is affiliated to the Madurai Kamaraj University, Approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.
The Department of Business Administration (DOBA) has been successfully offering the BBA Programme since 1972 to help build the nation in its march towards Economic resurgence. The Department of Management Studies (DOMS) started the MBA programme in 1994 with the approval of AICTE. DOMS has adopted time honored as well as innovative methods to metamorphose the student material into an effective managerial material within a short span of two years. In addition to the curriculum, personality development programme and counseling are organised to enable us to achieve the above objective.
The department provides sound infrastructure with eminent and well experienced faculty. Almost all members of the faculty have industrial experience spanning to decades. The rich background enables them to illustrate each theory and principles taught with examples from practical experience which is of paramount importance to the students. In addition to the above, to update the students with the current industrial scenario, the Department of Management Studies also brings a number of personalities from the industry as visiting lecturers.
Upon successful completion of the Master in Business Administration course, the students will be able to:

The students apply the analytical tools for intelligent decision-making.
• Students must have graduated in any discipline with 50% aggregate marks in 10 +2+3 or 10+3+3 format.
• The MBA admission criteria are based on the valid score of entrance exam conducted by either MAT /TANCET/CONSORTIUM of Self Financing Professional, Arts and Science Colleges in Tamilnadu.
The duration of the MBA Programme course shall be two academic years comprising four semesters with two semesters in each academic year.
The course details outline the key subjects a student will learn in each semester. The course starts off with fundamentals and gradually moves on to more detailed aspects of Business Management.
