SCAAN (Sourashtra College Alumni Association) was started in the year 1995 by the Alumni of our College. SCAAN creates and maintain a lifelong relationship with the college. SCAAN works to connect alumni and support students to build an unforgettable experience through a diversity of programmes and services. SCAAN members give valuable suggestions for improvement of the student’s community and the college in general.


Vision

• To engage and connect the Alumni in support of creating sustainable lifelong connection to the college and to each other.

Mission

• To support the college in development of student community, infrastructure and do services required by the college and the student community time to time.
• To organize seminars and training programs, placements for students.
• To assist the college to build effective infrastructure.
• To make everyone who is on the course as a holistic person.

Activities:

a. Conducting career guidance programme and soft skill development programme to students.
b. Providing Free Mid-Day Meals to the poor deserving students.
c. Conducting Free Medical Camp to the Community.
d. Providing scholarship to the deserving students every year.
e. Honouring alumni every year.
f. Conducting Alumni Meet on October 2nd, every year.

• Several Alumni have donated water tanks, Steel Almirahas, Books and Mid-Day Meals for needy students.
• The SCAAN has constructed a building in the college premises which now being used for class room purposes.
